Bowls, Painted and not painted.

It is possible that bowl is one of the ancient form of the dishes, which during the centuries proved its functionality gaining very important role in all countries culture.
 
The form and decoration of the bowl depends on the skills, knowledge and possibilities of the artist who create it. And also bowl could be filled by the consistence...
 
Waiting New Year we are thinking about with what we filled this year? Was there enough gained good words, thoughts, and work, tolerance and love, feelings and confidence?
 
From 05.12.12.- 05.01.13. in Daugavpils Clay Art Center could be seen an exhibition ‘Bowls. Painted and non painted’ which was created by the Daugavpils University Music and Art department and by the Art and Design department study program ‘Art’ 3rd year students as Kristīne Zemīte, Adelīna Ņiķitina, Daiga Vasiļjeva, Līga Riekstiņa, Olga Bojarinova, Līga Veigule, Tatjana Tkačova and they University teacher and docent Maitita Folkmane, together with professional ceramics of the Daugavpils Clay Art Center : Ilona Šauša, Jānis and Marija Saikovski, Līga Čible, Eleonora Pastare, Elvīra Sprindžuka, Una Gura, Ligita, Nellija Dzalba, Sandra Poplavska and Ināra Grāvele.
